About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Join At The Well board member, meditation & yoga teacher, and certified life coach Dallas Brown, in partnership with the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, for the final event in a special summer series, journeying through three moon cycles. Looking to save your spot for the whole series at a special price? Click here.

Inspired by the Jewish ritual of Rosh Chodesh, marking sacred time by the new moon, we will tap into the energy of the Hebrew month to reflect, reset, and connect.

Dallas will be joined by Kim Bauman, master yoga teacher and teacher trainer, to close out the summer by healing the brokenness of Av by moving and caring for our physical bodies. Through gentle yoga, expert adjustments, and self-massage, we will build a foundation of support for ourselves and each other to carry us through devastation to deep joy.

Come gather with women and nonbinary folks in community, to celebrate Rosh Chodesh and soak in the energy of the new month of Av.

Kim Bauman has been a Yoga Teacher since 2009, and founded a social justice nonprofit, One Love Movement in 2011 upon realizing her purpose in life, to forward change for people that don’t have a voice. Kim was once an orphan in Korea, put into the foster care system, then adopted by an American family. Kim's journey into purpose started when she went on a volunteer humanitarian trip to Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake, struggling with the heartbreak of being no different than all of the orphans she had met, yet she was picked for a better life. Career highlights: Fiduciary/Sponsor for a shelter in India with 22 kids, Chopra Yoga Teacher Trainer, Yoga Teacher for Vuori, Organizer of the largest charity yoga event in the country with thousands attending, & much more!
