Varun Pattabhiraman presents the culminating performance of his ACTA Apprenticeship with Dr. Rohan Krishnamurthy and guest artists.
About Samvāda
Samvāda means dialogue or conversation in Sanskrit. This intimate performance explores the conversations that unfold across rhythm, melody, and movement in the Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam traditions.
The evening marks the culmination of Varun Pattabhiraman’s ACTA Apprenticeship with mentor Dr. Rohan Krishnamurthy, and brings together percussion, vocal music, violin, and dance through solo and collaborative works.
Varun will be joined by Nitya Narasimhan (Bharatanatyam), Sindhu Natarajan (vocal), and Krishna Parthasarathy (violin and vocal).
Following the performance, guests are invited to stay for an informal reception with samosas and chai and spend some time with the artists and one another.
