FiveMyles Gallery and Artsee present the works of Multi-Media Artist Kalyani Ganapathy

Kalyani Ganapathy is a self taught multimedia artist. She uses plastic containers, paper and whatever other disposables she finds around the house to create her sculptures. The theme is often cultural portraying everyday moments in a diverse variety of people. Her sculptures capture the subtle mood and attitude of her subjects in their posture and expressions. No two pieces are alike as she constantly tests the limits and artistic potential of materials that would otherwise be discarded in landfills.
