Oak Strong Physical Fitness

Welcome to the Sammy Jane Showdown! This will be a four event one day competition. 
We will offer 2 divisions (Novice and Scaled) in 2 person same sex teams.  This competition will fund a scholarship in Samantha Franklin's honor.  Sammy was a wonderful soul who loved the gym and teaching.  This is our way to honor her and help others follow in her footsteps.  It is our hope to give multiple scholarships to deserving aspiring teachers.  We will be accepting applications at sammyjanesscholarship@outlook.com until Nov 1, 2019.
This competition will be held Feburary 20, 2020 at Oak Strong Physical Fitness. We plan to start at 8am sharp doors will open at 6:30am. 
Standards:
Novice:
Deadlift 135/95
Thruster and Snatch 75/55
Jumping Pullups
Single Unders
Squat Clean 95/65
Box Step Ups 24/20
Burpees
Rowing/Biking/Running
Knee Pushups
Wallballs 20/14 to 9 ft target
Scaled:
Deadlift 185/135
Thruster and Snatch 95/65
Dubs (At least one person)
Squat Clean 135/95
Pullups
Box Jumps 24/20
Burpees 
Rowing/Biking/Running
Planked Pushups
Wallballs 20/14 to 10 ft target
**Standards are used to determine division.  You might encounter more movements during competition but weighting will be consistent**
