Samhain Herbal Balls Workshop
Celebrate Samhain with herbal crafting, honoring Gaia, the harvest, and the turning of the Wheel of the Year.
🌑✨ Samhain Herbal Balls Workshop ✨🌑
Saturday, October 25, 1 PM – 3 PM
Wild Willow Farm – Franklin, NH
🍂 About This Gathering
As the Wheel of the Year turns, we arrive at Samhain, the ancient festival that honors the final harvest and the sacred shift into the darker half of the year. At this time, we pause to honor the rhythms of Mother Earth, Gaia, who has given us so abundantly through the seasons of growth.
Samhain is a time of both gratitude and reverence—a moment to give thanks for the harvest, to honor the cycles of life and death, and to acknowledge the ancestors and loved ones who came before us. It is also a time of renewal, when the seeds of intention are planted deep within, preparing us for the quiet winter months of rest and reflection.
🌿 Creating Herbal Balls of Intention
In this workshop, you will craft your own Herbal Balls, a timeless tradition of weaving herbs, flowers, and natural elements into sacred charms. These creations serve as:
• Blessings of protection and abundance for your home through the winter months
- Symbols of the harvest, filled with seasonal herbs and flowers to honor the gifts of Gaia
- Offerings of gratitude to the Earth, anchoring us to the cycles of nature
Participants will have the choice to work with rustic willow balls or clear ornament-style herbal globes, each infused with the wisdom of the season. You will learn the meaning behind the plants we use and how they connect to Samhain’s energy of transition, harvest, and spirit.
✨ What to Expect
• A guided discussion on the Wheel of the Year and the significance of Samhain
- Exploration of herbal allies and why they are honored at this time
- Hands-on crafting of your own Samhain Herbal Ball(s) to take home
- A closing blessing circle to honor Gaia, the harvest, and our ancestors
