The opening event will feature presentations from:
<a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Community-Organization/Ohlone-Sisters-2025939511008221/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Ohlone Sisters</a> - Ohlone Sisters Desiree and Carla Marie Munoz  are representatives of the Costanoan Rumsen Ohlone Tribe, the indigenous people of the Central California Coastal area.
<a href="https://www.actaonline.org/profile/omnira-institute/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Awon Ohun Omnira (Voices of Freedom)</a> - Using traditional song and movement, the history of African Americans is linked to Africa by means of Lucumi and Ifa spiritual practices whose roots are found in West African religious practice.

Mobile Mural by <a href="http://www.aerosoulart.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Aerosoul Arts</a> - A mobile mural with the theme &quot;Emancipate yourself from menthol slavery&quot; will be on view during the exhibition opening.

Same Game Different Smokers is an exploration of the troubling relationship the tobacco industry has had with the Black Community over the last 400+ years. A collection of archival ads and images are brought together to answer some extremely important questions.

About the Curator:
Tracy Brown is a Project Manager with the African American Tobacco Control Leadership Council (AATCLC). She is a seasoned visual artist and community worker who was born in San Francisco but has worked in communities of color in various places all over the world.
Tracy received her MA in Arts Politics (Art and Public Policy) from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She is an Artivist, a curator, a creative consultant and so much more. She was one of the co-curators of the Smoke and Mirrors exhibition which explored the impact the War on Drugs has had/is having on the Black and Brown community.  She is a long standing artist in the globally recognized The Black Woman Is God Exhibition and participated in the takeover of the New Museum with the gathering of artists called Black Women Artists for Black Lives Matter. <p></p>

 Formed in 2008, the African American Tobacco Control Leadership Council (AATCLC) partners with community stakeholders, elected officials and public health agencies to inform the national direction of tobacco control policy, practices and priorities, as they affect the lives of Black-American and African immigrant populations. The AATCLC has been at the forefront in elevating the regulation of mentholated and other flavored tobacco products on the national tobacco control agenda. Most notably, the AATCLC has assisted San Francisco, Chicago, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Baltimore, and numerous California cities in adopting and implementing Buffer Zones and Flavor Bans.
