SAME Coastal Carolina - May Monthly Post Mtg (Fire Protection)

Please join us for the upcoming May SAME Coastal Carolina Post meeting. Matt Polley, P.E., Fire Protection Engineer, Southeast Design Discipline Lead for GHD, will present an overview of the latest Fire Protection criteria as it relates to the Department of Defense.

GHD has been working closely with NAVFAC Fire under their NAVFAC MIDLANT Fire Protection IDIQ contract. GHD has performed multiple hangar renovations over the past decade spanning multiple policy/criteria iterations and have multiple lessons learned while dealing with AFFF transitions. This presentation is to cover the progression of criteria changes, available alternatives, and impacts to end-users during the project.
