Salsa: The Movement Experience

Fallon A. Coleman began dancing as a youth at the Jordan Academy of Dance.  However, it was not until she attended Indiana University Bloomington that she blossomed as a dancer and led the IU Essence Hip-Hop Dance Team to three first place trophies at the Star Quest Talent Competition. Her love for dancing expanded to include the Latin rhythms of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Samba.  Following graduation, Coleman joined the Into Salsa Dance Company for one season where she studied Salsa under the direction of Yang Xiao, who is a well-known and prominent dancer in the Salsa community.  Even after earning her Juris Doctorate degree and becoming an attorney, Coleman could not stop dancing and obtained her certification as a Zumba Instructor.  She has been blessed to have been touched by so many exceptional dancers and in return would like to share her passion for dancing with others.  Coleman is currently in her second season with the Indianapolis Ladies Touch Styling Team, but is excited and looking forward to this new adventure and the challenging choreography ofAlma Latina.
