Come join us for a night of spicy salsa dancing at our event Salsa in the Basement at 1610! Get ready to move your hips and groove to the rhythm in the heart of Georgetown at 1610 Wisconsin Ave NW.

These are beginner classes in a 4 part series. These are small focused classes that are all about building strong foundations and giving our dancers the confidence in rhythm and foundational salsa moves.

Whether you're new to the salsa world or a beginner looking to learn some new moves, this event is perfect for anyone who loves to dance. So grab your dancing shoes and get ready to salsa the night away with us!

Can I register for a single class in the series?

Yes! In the beginner classes you can register for the dates that work best for you, though starting with us on day one is encouraged.

This is my first time dancing

These are our foundational classes, which is perfect no matter the experience! We keep the classes small so that we can focus on building and bringing out the dancer in you :)

Is this a series?

Yes! All of our lessons come in four part series. Tickets are sold as a set so that new dancers can work on each fundamental step through the course.
