We start with the BASICS, teaching you the rhythm and heart of salsa that comes from the conga drums.

We practice a new salsa pattern every class, making sure to give you all the time you need to master the moves with lots of repetition with different partners, and no waiting around for your turn to dance.

❌PARKING❌ can be challenging, so GIVE YOURSELF at least 30 MINUTES to find a lot or metered parking.

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear to class?

Anything you feel comfortable dancing in. You are welcome to wear heels to class, but if you have never danced in heels before I recommend a low heel (3 inches or less), and a shoe that feels supportive of your ankle. Bring a back-up pair of sneakers in case you want to change out of them.

Where should I park?

Hollywood is challenging to find parking, so give yourself a good 20-30 minutes to find metered parking/garage parking and make sure you read the signs. There are some paid lots as well (1627 Vine Street is a good one).

I've never danced salsa before, are you sure I can come to this class?

YES. This class is made for a beginner. We go through the basic steps first and then we run the class carousel style where everyone gets to dance with everyone! Come with or without a partner.
