What is Salsa and Bachata at Dance Fridays?

It's the San Francisco Bay Area's largest and most popular salsa and bachata dance club.  It's a large club, reminiscent of the days of Cafe Cocomo, or if you're a world traveller, the old Copacabana (circa year 2000) in New York. It has multiple dance rooms, caters to all style of salsa and bachata

Do you have Salsa and Bachata Dance Lessons?

Yes, every Friday at 8p (and every Saturday that we are open) there are ALWAYS beginning and intermediate dance lessons in both Salsa Dancing and Bachata Dance. We cater to beginners! No partner is required and you do not need to have any experience - we will get your dancing all night!

Do I need a Dance Parter or Salsa or Bachata Dance Experience for Lessons?

No, you do not need a partner or any experience. We'll teach you from your very first social dance steps.  You'll be fine, and you'll be joining hundreds of others.

Are you 21+?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are 21+ and ID is required at all events.  We have a full bar, coat check, and multiple rooms of dancing. Dress to impress. We do not allow any outside drinks, food, water bottles, sports attire or shorts.

Do you celebrate birthdays or special events?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we sure do! Just contact us - we can get a discount for your guests, and a space by the bar set aside for cakes and party. Birthday's do need to be scheduled in advance, please contact us.

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

We're nightclub smart - and we're a dance club. Dress to impress. Smart Casual. We have people coming right after work, and we have people dressing up for a night on the town. That being said - No sportswear of any kind. No Hats (except Panama or similar style of course). No shorts (of course).

Do you have parking?

Accepted Answer

We don't, but the street does! There is a large amount of street parking outside the venue! The earlier you arrive, the closer you'll actually be to the entrance of the club (arriving at 8p for dance lessons, guarantees you great parking).

We do recommend UBER / LYFT if possible.

Question 8

How many rooms of Dancing are there?

We always have both salsa and bachata dancing, usually in separate rooms. On occasion we open up a third room for Kizomba, Zouk, Reggaeton, Top 40, etc ...
