About Your Alliance Française

All proceeds from this event go to support the educational and cultural operations of Alliance Française Atlanta (AFATL), our city’s premier source of French language and culture since 1912.

AFATL is a 501 c3 non-profit language school and cultural center with the mission of teaching the French language and promoting the knowledge of French-speaking cultures in Metro Atlanta and beyond. Throughout the year, AFATL teaches and promotes the French language, conducting educational outreach, cultural and social events, and teaching all levels of French at two locations (Downtown Atlanta and Roswell) and online.

Partnering with Atlanta’s universities, schools, businesses, and other non-profit organizations, AFATL hosts a cultural calendar that includes French-language cinema, theatre, photography exhibits and other cultural events. Key moments in our cultural calendar include Francophonie Month, the European Film Festival of Atlanta, Bastille Day, and the very popular French Market.
