Culinary Literacy Center

<P CLASS="MsoNormal">Starting with an assortment of seasonal produce and pantry staples, <SPAN>Joy Manning and Marisa McClellan, food writers and co-hosts of the Local Mouthful podcast,</SPAN> will teach you how to turn the bounty of your CSA box, farmers market haul, or Instacart order into delicious satisfying entree salads. This class will focus on essential techniques, including whipping up a quick homemade dressing and how to combine flavors and textures for the perfect summer meal. Students will leave with the skills and a basic, adjustable template to make a salad from what they have on hand. We'll explore how to use these technique to eat well on a budget, minimize food waste, and enjoy all those vegetables the season brings. Plus, we'll make and eat some salad together. </P>
