<p>This is a one-day, hands on, interactive SAIL Instructor Training. You will receive manuals, a video, and supplies that will enable you to begin leading a SAIL class upon completion. The agenda  for the day will include the history of SAIL;  what Evidence-Base programs are and other programs in our state; Updates on State and National Fall Prevention Studies, research and statistics;  Fall Risks and outcomes of falls; the prescribed mandatory components of a SAIL program and how to maintain the fidelity of the program; How to market and sustain the program; Fitness Assessments of the participants; Aging systems and how they affect balance strength, and flexibility; Administrative record keeping; Strategies for success and so much more. You will be exercising, learning proper form of the prescribed exercises, why they are an important part of the program, and their adaptations. At the end of the day you will receive a Certificate of Completion. </p>
