About this event

Safer Use Society is social support individuals actively using, on MAT, or those seeking an alternative to a 12-step program, and everything in between. We will be meeting every week on Wednesday at 5:30pm. No abstinence required, no expectations, no judgment, just compassionate understanding & support. This is a hybrid style meeting, meaning that you can show up in person or online via zoom.

We fully embrace harm reduction based programming and activities, we will host monthly skill shares, peer-peer community-based development, & culturally competent facilitation. This is not a 12-step group.

Thrive for Change provides custom in-person or virtual training to people who want to learn more about harm reduction and how we can reduce the harms that come from substance use. Our educators have deep roots in this community from lived experience, to working in syringe programs, and we want to share our knowledge with you.
