Join this webinar hosted by the FMCSA to learn more about the upcoming Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot program.

The FMCSA is hosting a public information session for carriers, drivers, and others who are interested in participating in, or learning more about, the upcoming Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot (SDAP) program.
On November 15, 2021, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) was signed into Law by President Biden. Section 23022 requires FMCSA to establish an Apprentice Driver Pilot Program. On January 14, 2022, FMCSA announced the establishment of the SDAP program.
On Monday, July 25, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Time), FMCSA will be hosting a public session to provide programmatic updates and answer questions interested parties may have. FMCSA will also be providing updates on the next steps, including announcement of when we will begin accepting carrier applications. Please submit any questions you have in advance to SafeDriver@dot.gov.
