Religious scholars and theologians from around the country and overseas will gather at the USC campus for a two-day conference on "Sacred Space, Sacred Thread" -- offering insights and dialogue about how places of worship shape daily life and how different religious groups use these consecrated buildings as part of their religious practice.  We will also explore how sacred clothing has defined spiritual expression for centuries. 
Our keynote speaker is British author and theologian Margaret Barker, who is known worldwide for her work on Temple Theology.

If you are unable to attend the conference in person, the opportunity to live stream will be available. A link for the live stream will be up the night before the conference and will be made available on our website and Facebook page. This will also be emailed to everyone who registers, so please register even if you cannot attend in person.
