Do I need prior dance experience to join the class?

No, all levels are welcome! Whether you're a seasoned dancer or stepping onto the dance floor for the first time, you'll find a supportive environment to explore and grow in.

What should I wear to class?

Comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for freedom of movement is recommended. Many participants opt for leggings,yoga pants, or a long breathable skirt paired with a comfortable top. Bare feet or dance shoes are both suitable.

Is bellydance suitable for all body types?

Absolutely! Bellydance celebrates the beauty and diversity of all body shapes and sizes. Our class is inclusive and welcoming to everyone.

What can I expect from the class?

You'll learn fundamental bellydance techniques, engage in mindful exercises, and experience the joy of dancing in community.

Do I need any special equipment or props?

No special equipment is required. Just bring yourself, an open mind, and a willingness to explore the art of bellydance. A hip scarf (any scarf you can tie around your waist) will due, but isn't required.

How long is the class?

The class typically runs for 60 minutes, allowing ample time for warm-up, instruction, practice, and cool-down.

Can I join the class if I'm pregnant?

Pregnant individuals are advised to consult with their healthcare provider before participating in any physical activity. If cleared by your healthcare provider, modifications can be provided to accommodate your needs during class.

What if I have an injury or physical limitation?

Please inform the instructor of any injuries or physical limitations prior to class. Modifications and accommodations can be provided to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Is there a minimum age requirement for the class?

Participants must be 18 years old to attend the class. However, girls 15 and older can join on a case-by-case basis with parental consent, and a guardian present.
