The Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site, the Sackets Harbor Battlefield Alliance, Inc. the U.S. Forces, the Crown Forces North America and the Crown Forces North American Naval Establishment announce the North American War of 1812 Grand Tactical Weekend.
Two Day Event
Saturday July 27th from 9am - 9pm
Sunday July 28th from 9am - 3pm
The living history weekend activities are Saturday 9am to 9pm, continuing Sunday 9am to 3pm. High points are tacticals Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning as well as english country music & dance and much more. Visitors experience military formations and drills, hear artillery, shop for period merchandise, and watch battle tactics.
Sutlers/Merchants are welcome. Tents, signs, goods, displays, and personal appearance must be appropriate for the War of 1812 period.
