The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce New England (SACC-NE) is a member-based trade and professional organization.Since our founding year 1998, we have grown to become the leading Swedish-American business network in the region with a reach of over 700 businesses, professionals, and students.SACC-NE’s mission is to accelerate trade, commerce, investment relationships, and support Swedish businesses and individuals succeed in the US market, as well ashighlighting entrepreneurial, innovative and educational initiatives between Swedenthe US.This is achieved through promoting and supporting business ideas and organizations in the New England region, offering local insights and regional connections, and by providing a forum for dialogue and exchange. Everything we do is with the overall purpose tofurther strengthen and develop the bond between Sweden and the U.S.

The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce NE

Join the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce New England for the first Mingel of the year and kick off the spring season with good friends and new acquaintances on Thursday March 9th from 6.30pm - 8.30pm. The event will be hosted at <A HREF="https://www.hastens.com/en/store-locator/united-states/boston/hastens-on-newbury-street" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hästens</A> right on Newbury Street in the heart of Boston. 
The event will include drinks and hors d'oeuvres, and members of SACC-NE can enjoy 20% off of all accessories (Pillows, Linens, etc) in the store for that evening. 
Agenda:
6.30 - 7pm: Networking
7pm - 7.05pm: Welcome by SACC-NE
7.05 - 7.10: Presentation on Hästens' history and where they are now
7.10 - 7.30: Open mic for those who'd like to introduce themselves and/or their businesses to the SACC-NE community
7.30 - 8.30pm: Networking

About Hästens:
Hästens is a Swedish manufacturer established in 1852, today specializing in beds, bedlinen, pillows and lifestyle accessories. Hästens manufacture their beds and mattresses by hand using natural materials like cotton, horse hair, wool and flax. Hästens retail stores also sell branded premium bedlinen, pillows, duvets and accessories. The company was originally founded by Pehr Adolf Janson in 1852 as a master saddler business and is still a family-owned company. David Janson shifted their focus in the early 1900s from making saddles to making beds. By 1952, a century after its foundation, they had become the official bedding supplier of Sweden’s royal court. Hästens currently operates multiple retail stores and approximately 200 Hästens Stores around the world in locations such as New York, London, Stockholm, Madrid, México City and Boston.
