Republican Women for Progress (RWFP) is a grassroots policy organization created to: ensure the full spectrum of Republican women’s voices are represented in the media, develop and support the pipeline of Republican women who want to lead and run for office, and refocus the GOP on proper governance and policy.

*There is limited street parking, so we would recommend Ubering/Lyfting. There is a Colonial Parking Garage at 2328 Champlain St NW, Washington 20009 (entrance at 18th and Belmont Streets NW). The location is a little over half a mile from both the U Street and Columbia Heights metro stations (downhill walk from the Columbia Heights Metro).

We're kicking off the fall and the road to 2020 with an evening of cocktails and commentary. Whether you come to say goodbye to summer, hello to fall or to chat about 2020 - we have a drink for you!

Our special guest speaker is Jordan Kyle who is a senior fellow and head of data and analytics in the Renewing the Centre program at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. She writes and consults on the rise of global populism, how to improve public services, and how to restore citizens’ trust in government. Her work has been featured or cited in The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Economist, Foreign Affairs, NPR, and a variety of other publications, including in top tier academic journals in economics and political science. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from Columbia University, where she was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. She is currently writing on how to escape the trap of short-termism in policymaking and get governments to invest in the future.
