T﻿he Rust Foundationis an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to stewarding the Rust programming language, nurturing the Rust ecosystem, and supporting the set of maintainers governing and developing the Project. We are excited to host RustConf for the first time this September!

RustConf is the largest annual gathering of the Rust programming language community. For the first time in 2024, RustConf will be held in beautiful Montreal, Canada and online.Whether you're a Rust maintainer, a professional user of Rust, a team lead interested in exploring Rust, or you're simply curious about the language, we'd love to see you at RustConf.This year, we're also offering an add-on training/workshop day and a new co-located event dedicated to discussing the professional use of Rust called Rust Global. RustConf will conclude with the much-loved "UnConference" experience —an optional half-day event hosted by the Rust Project centered around freeform Rust brainstorming and collaboration.Workshops will take place on Tueday, September 10th and are now sold out. Below is a basic breakdown to inform your travels:Tuesday: Optional workshops from approximately 10-5pm. NOW SOLD OUT. Wednesday-Thursday: Main RustConf days. Opening remarks at approx. 9:30am. Closing keynote at approx. 5:30pm. Friday: Optional <a href="https://rustconf-2024-unconf.eventbrite.com" title="https://rustconf-2024-unconf.eventbrite.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">UnConference</a> and Rust Global events. Rust Global will run from approx. 9am-1pm and the UnConf will run from approx. 9am until 3pm. BOTH EVENTS NOW SOLD OUT.We also plan to host an evening drinks reception on Wednesday evening. Your badge and your drink tickets (dispensed during badge collection) are your entry!
