Join rural artists and community leaders from across the nation in the Mississippi Delta for the Rural Generation Summit and the chance to vision a collective impact model that leverages our social, cultural and natural resources to address sustainability, regional cohesion, and rural quality of life. The Summit begins at 12:00 on May 22 at the Westin Hotel in Jackson, and ends at Noon on Friday, May 24th at Tougaloo College in Jackson. Registration is available via a Three Day Ticket (Wednesday-Friday), Two Day Ticket (please note on registration which two days you will be participating), One Day Ticket, as well as a Local Ticket. Registration includes conference participation, excursions, local transportation, and most meals. A lot goes into the summit so if you feel inclined, please also consider donating to the summit costs. The initiative is guided by the Rural Generation Working Group (listed at www.ruralgeneration.org) and supported by a National Endowment for the Arts Our Town grant and by ArtPlace America.
