Welcome to Runway Wars!
Come join us at 417 E Roy Furman Hwy for a car event like no other. Runway Wars, hosted by Steel City Cars N'at and Flash Light Drags, is set to take place on 6/23/24 at the Greene County Airport. This event promises an exciting and fun-filled day featuring a large car meet along with opportunities to race your friends on the runway. There will be no drag racing classes - just pure enjoyment for all participants. Attendees can look forward to a live DJ, various food trucks for delicious bites, and the possibility of a thrilling fast and furious run off. Don't miss out on this fantastic event - make sure to be there to join in on the excitement!
RULES:
These events are intended for street-cars and trucks only. No Motocycles.
+ DOT Tires – Required (No slicks)
+ Current State Registration - Required
+ Proof of Insurance - Required
+ Valid Drivers License - Required
+ No Passengers
+ Safety Belts must be worn
+ Convertibles - tops up or bring a helmet
+ Burn outs in designated areas only
+ Driver must wear wristband on left wrist
+ Flash Light Drags Event waiver must be signed
+ Drivers must attend the drivers' meeting prior to the start of each event
TICKETS:
Race Car Pass: Includes parking and racing admission for one vehicle at the Runway Wars Event. To race, vehicle and participant must comply with set rules. Additional individuals in the vehicle must each have their own ticket for entry to the event (spectator ticket).
Show Car Pass: Includes parking for one vehicle in the car meet (show) area of the event. Additional individuals in the vehicle must each have their own ticket for entry to the event (spectator ticket).
Spectator Ticket: Includes parking in the spectator lot for one vehicle and access to the event for one person.. Additional individuals in the vehicle must each have their own ticket for entry to the event (spectator ticket).
*Kids 13 and under : Free Admission
**Parking will be on grass field
EVENT SCHEDULE:
Car show/meet: 10am to 7pm
Car Racing: 2pm to 6pm
Refunds:
Regrettably, there will be no refunds available for this event. However, in the case of event cancellation on 6/23/24 due to rain, the rain date is set for 6/30/24, and tickets will be valid for that rescheduled day.
