About the workshop
Health and safety is a priority in any organisation. This workshop will provide you with up-to-date knowledge of the law, how to safely hold an event and manage risk efficiently and effectively.
Outcome
By the end of this session you will have a better understanding of:
- Planning and managing safe events
- Know more about the law, including Martyn’s Law and your duties
- Performing risk assessments
- Steps in the process of risk management
- Effective risk management
Format
The workshop will be delivered online and will last for 90 minutes with a short break in the middle. To encourage interaction, attendance will be limited to 12 people.
The trainer - Green Pepper Consulting
David is a former charity trustee, based in the Scottish Borders, and through Green Pepper Consulting, he provides training and support to the voluntary sector. Previous to working with Borders Community Action, he has worked with both The Bridge and Bavs.
