Ready to hit the streets with confidence? Run Safe Nottingham is all about enjoying your runs while staying safe and aware.
We’re thrilled to invite you to this running safety event with the help of Nottinghamshire Police. There will be a small presentation by our own Run Ambassador, Phoebe Lake, who spearheaded a campaign with Nottinghamshire Police called The Walk in My Shoes initiative at the end of March 2025.
We will then have a Q&A session with Nottinghamshire Police. We'll cover areas on how we can keep ourselves safe, as well as our loved ones and anyone else that we see on our runs.
SILVA, world leading Swedish brand, known for head torches & outdoor essentials, will be bringing products to try out.
There will be pizza available towards the end of the evening, kindly supplied free of charge by the lovely people at Rudy’s Pizzeria.
Finally, there will be free goody bags supplied by local businesses.
It’ll be a great opportunity to chat amongst like-minded individuals and get the information from local police officers that you may have been too scared to ask before.
We'll also share information on where you can find local run clubs & groups. The running community of Nottingham is strong. We're all here to help and support each other.
