Join the lululemon & Every Person Run Club communities for a special run event celebrating Asian American Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Lace up your sneakers and get ready for a fun and meaningful 6-mile run throughout downtown DC!

Date: Satureday, May 25, 2024

Meet Time: 9:30 AM (Eastern Daylight Time)

Meet Location: Chinatown Park (Across from La Colombe Coffee Roasters)

Distance: 6 miles

Led by lululemon ambassador and Every Person Run Club co-founder, Lahaina Mae Mondoñedo, we will run to various monuments and locations of cultural and historical significance to the AANHPI communities. We will take a few moments at every stop to gather and learn some highlights about each location.

We will then head to Rice Market, where acclaimed chef, David Ho, will prepare fresh Vietnamese coffee and a sweet treat for all the runners. To wrap up our event, runners will have the opportunity to discover the amazing Asian products at the market while enjoying community connection with their fellow runners!

Whether you're interested in running with a supportive group, or looking to celebrate and learn more about AANHPI communities, you are welcome to join. This event is FREE and open to all!

Register now, and let's come together to run, reflect, and celebrate! Spots are limited so kindly sign up and mark your calendar, so you don't miss out!

This event is powered by lululemon. We also thank our amazing partners & sponsors who have made this gathering possible--Every Person Run Club, Rice Market, SEN Coffee, and David Cho.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the run?

From the starting point to the end of the run at Rice Market, it will come out to be about 6 miles.

What is the pace of the run?

The pace range is expected to land anywhere between 9-min per mile to 11:30-min per mile, we will do our best to accommodate all paces. Please note that this will not be a continuous 6-mile run/workout--we will be stopping at every AANHPI location for all paces to gather and learn about each.

Will there be a place to store any belongings?

No--please come with only what you are prepared to run with. Please do consider bringing a form of payment if you plan to shop at the Rice Market. The Vietnamese coffee and sweet treat from David Ho is complimentary, but anything on top of that will be at your expense.

What are the different stops along the run?

We will be emailing all registrants the exact route and list of stops in the days leading to the run. With that being said, on Saturday, May 25, we will be meeting at Chinatown Park in Chinatown DC at 9:30 am, and we will be ending the run at Rice Market on 14th St.

I can't run 6 miles, but I would love to join. Is there any other way I can participate?

You are welcome to join us on a bike, if you don't mind biking at a pace to match the runners.
