Honoring Her Legacy-

Our Aunt, Sr. Joan Marie Ames, IHM, passed away suddenly in 2023. She held the position of Vice President of Institutional Advancement for Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia, PA. Because of Sr. Joan, MANY young women were provided an education funded by all her hard work, dedication, and fundraising efforts. Without her devotion and tireless efforts, their enrollment would not be possible. In honor of her legacy, a Little Flower Catholic High School for Girl’s Scholarship has been founded in her name. This fundraiser event is to benefit the Sr. Joan M. Ames Scholarship at Little Flower Catholic High School. We would love to be able to keep Aunt Joanie’s legacy alive and continue to empower young women with the opportunity to receive an education.

Aunt Joanie was a true model of the “Little Way,” St Therese’s approach to life- seeking to do ordinary things with extraordinary love. Little ways go a long way- benefiting young women who could use our help. We are so very grateful for your support and contributions.
