Run Against The Wind

Welcome to the Run Against The Wind reading happening at JACK!

On Friday, May 31st at 7pm we will be presenting a reading of curated text from, Ethal Minor, June Jordan, Ntozake Shange, and Aja Monet in conversation with one another. The selected work speaks on the history of Palestinian liberation efforts and its impact on Black radical movements here in the United States since the '60s. This reading is meant to generate money to buy e-sims to keep our Palestinian comrades in communication with the world and provide as much aid and relief to the Palestinian people as possible. We hope for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine and hope that this event aids in bringing that hope to a reality.
