The Central Asia-Caucasus Institute is a leading institution in the U.S. for the study of the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Caspian Region.  The institute, part of the American Foreign Policy Council, is a partner of a joint Center with the Silk Road Studies Program at the Institute for Security and Development Policy in Stockholm.  Additional information about the Joint Center, as well as its several publications series, is available at silkroadstudies.org and cacianalyst.org.

Twice each year the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute brings 10-12 rising leaders from Central Asia, Mongolia, the Caucasus, and Afghanistan (the "CAMCA" countries)  to Washington as Rumsfeld Fellows.  This spring's Rumsfeld Fellows will present their individual perspectives on developments in each country and in the region as a whole. As leaders in business, government, media, and NGOs, their views on the economic prospects and geopolitics of this vital region warrant Washington's close attention.       Moderator:  S.
