I often meet people who are skeptical about rum. A memorable (or forgettable!) night in college, a too-sweet cocktail on a cruise ship - rum can get a bad rap, particularly in the US. Join me, Neal Warner, Head Rum Officer at Strange Bird, while I demystify some of the confusions that often surround the category. You'll taste some of the most celebrated rums in the world in the process - spirits that easily stack up against the best whiskies and tequilas out there.

You'll learn about what makes certain rums special, how they fit into the cultural landscape of where they come from, and a bit about the history and production methods involved.

Ticket includes Rum Tasting and Presentation. The Strange Bird and Shoyu Shop menus will be available during the class. When you arrive, enter the main Strange Bird entrance and tell the host your here for the class! See you soon!
