Overview

An intimate community dinner honoring the life, teachings, and legacy of Rumi (Mawlana) rooted in connection, presence, and shared meaning.

An intimate community dinner honoring the life, teachings, and legacy of Rumi (Mawlana) rooted in connection, presence, and shared meaning.

A night with Rumi is a four-course dining experience inspired by the rich flavors of the Middle East, where each course is paired with a passage from a single Rumi poem. Guided by Author and Sufi teacher Kabir Helminski , the poem is explored slowly, inviting reflection, dialogue, and collective insight at the table.

This is a shared table of connection, offered in devotion to Mawlana Rumi and the timeless reminder that we are meant to meet one another, heart to heart.

The evening unfolds through four thoughtfully crafted courses by our Chef, drawing from the deep, layered flavors of the Middle East where cuisine is more than nourishment; it is remembrance, ritual, and living poetry.

Each course is meant to take you on a small journey. Through spice, texture, and aroma, we move across landscapes shaped by sun, soil, trade routes, and centuries of shared culture.

This magical experience nourishes not only the body, but also the conversation, the listening, and the way we meet one another at the table.

Music by:
SEDA & SOUL The modern mystic duo

SEDA & SOUL is a devotional meeting of sound and spirit where melody becomes prayer and rhythm becomes remembrance. Woven by Sheava Rahimi and Bahman Violin, this musical union was born from nearly two decades of deep friendship and shared creative pilgrimage.

Rooted in many traditions yet bound by none, their music moves like Rumi’s verses crossing borders, dissolving edges, and speaking directly to the soul. As multi-instrumentalists, they listen as much to silence as to sound, allowing the spaces in between to guide the unfolding.

Their offerings are not performances but encounters frequencies drawn from the heart, carrying stories of longing, devotion, exile, and return. Music meant to move what is stuck, soften what is guarded, and remind us of what has always been singing within.
