Ruby Team Antenatal education session

Ruby Team Antenatal education session

Overview

Antenatal class covering labour and birth; for Ruby Team - SW15 families booked for maternity care at Kingston Hospital

As part of our commitment to ensuring that you feel well prepared and confident for labour, birth and the first few weeks of parenthood we would like to extend an invitation to join us at our monthly Antenatal education session.

The free session will cover lots of vital information about what to expect including the stages of labour; monitoring your baby during labour, pain relief; and other topics that most would like to know about before approaching giving birth.

You may, of course have already signed up to other antenatal classes or feel that you don’t need to attend (e.g. if this is not your first baby) which is absolutely fine. You are welcome to attend anyway or could decide not to come. There is no obligation to attend if you would prefer not to.

Birth partners are welcome to come with you, should you choose to attend.

Whilst we would love to cover more topics within our Ruby Team session, there is unfortunately not enough time to cover Infant Feeding during our session. We would highly recommend the Kingston Hospital Infant feeding session which is run by our specialist Infant feeding team at Kingston. You can find more information and book yourself on to this class on the Kingston Maternity website.
