About this event

Ruby Karp's I Don't Trust Adults exposes the trials and tribulations of a failed child star and the many adults who wronged her over the years. How many adults publicly wrote hit articles on her? How many theater teachers made her cry? How is Mark Zuckerberg allegedly involved in all of this? Join Ruby as she dissects why she doesn't trust adults.

Ruby Karp is currently a Digital Coordinator at After Midnight on CBS. She formerly was a Video Producer at betches, where her videos amassed upwards of 50M+ views. Her live show We Hope You Have Fun has been running since 2012. She published a book, Earth Hates Me, in high school which she hopes you do not read. She's been featured on JFL, Comedy Central, MTV, and more.

Known primarily for the nation’s longest running independent comedy show (The Lincoln Lodge) we also produce special events, help others organizations to raise money with comedy events and offer classes (Feminine Comique and Stand-Up Seminary) to encourage more community participation in stand-up comedy. We have been very successful at nurturing local talent and can point to a long line of alumni like Hannibal Burress, Kyle Kinane, T.J. Miller, Pete Holmes and Cameron Esposito who all got their start at The Lodge. Our reputation for professionalism, talent and integrity means organizations such as Just for Laughs and Comedy Central have invited us to collaborate with them.
