Rowan County Grant Workshop

The Kentucky Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (KCARD) is a non-profit organization established to facilitate agricultural and rural business development in Kentucky. We provide educational opportunities, technical assistance, and business support services to new and existing businesses. The Agribusiness Grant Facilitation Program's mission is to help agricultural producers and rural businesses in Kentucky learn about, apply for, and receive funding available through numerous programs.

The Kentucky Center for Agriculture and Rural Development’s Grant Workshop provides information about available funding programs, help applicants understand planning for grants, and work on common grant requirements.
 Registration: $15 per person Grant guide binder for each participant Pre-registration required!

 The workshop also includes an overview of common grant and financial assistance programs, including those listed below: • USDA-Rural Development • Kentucky Department of Agriculture • USDA-NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) • KSU Small Scale Farm Program • Farmers Market Promotion Program • Local Food Promotion Program • Southern Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education • Kentucky Ag Development Board
 There will also be working sessions to understand what makes a good grant, and hands-on guidance and toolkit for developing your own goals, work plans, and budgets!
