"Interoperability progress made but still much to be desired.” KLAS, a health care IT research company, has formally measured interoperability since 2015, monitoring vendor and provider progress toward achieving deep interoperability that substantively improves patient care. The industry has made steady progress in some areas and leaps forward in others. In partnership with College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), this <a href="https://chimecentral.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Trends-in-EMR-Interoperability_CHIME_KLAS.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">whitepaper</a> shares 10 interoperability trends that highlight areas of progress and opportunities for industry improvement. Coray Tate RN BSN, VP Research &amp; Strategy – Core Solutions, Interoperability &amp; Jared Jeffery, Director of Strategic Relations, will share and talk through these findings.

About Our Roundtables:Roundtables are part of our regular (free to all) programming where we connect experts from a wide array of perspectives relevant to health innovators. These gatherings are 90-minute conversations are capped to roughly 15 participants to ensure open dialogues that dive deep into subject matter while also making meaningful connections amongst participants.

About KLAS: Started in 1996 by 4 members of the Healthcare IT (HIT) industry, Kent Gale, Leonard Black, Adam Gale, and Scott Holbrook, KLAS was founded with a desire to help providers, and now payers, find transparency in the healthcare IT marketplace.
