Yes! While this event is rooted in Jewish tradition, it is open to all women, regardless of religious background. Whether you're Jewish, Christian, Muslim, non-religious, or another religious identity, please participate with curiosity and respect for all.

I don't live in East Nashville. Can I still attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Like all East Side Tribe events, this event is open to all, regardless of your home address.

Question 3

I'm trans/nonbinary/queer. Can I still attend?

Accepted Answer

If you identify as a woman -- whatever that means to you -- you are welcome! Please know that traditionally female-centered topics, such as menstrual cycles and motherhood, may come up in conversation. Your contribution is valued!

Question 4

I don't experience a monthly cycle because of birth control/menopause/etc. Can I still attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you identify as a woman, this group is for you. We all experience our cycles and womanhood in different ways, and your unique experience is both valid and important.

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Please make arrangements for childcare. We hope you're able to use this hour and a half to nourish yourself, mama!

Can I bring my male partner/friend?

We love the men in our lives. But they are not invited to Rosh Chodesh!  Sorry dudes.

Is there parking?

This event is hosted at a home in a residential neighborhood. Feel free to park behind the house or in the driveway, but only if you plan to stay the whole time (you may get blocked in!). Otherwise, there's plenty of street parking.
