Where will the workshop take place?

The workshop will take place at Abernethy & Spencer in our "Glassroom," which is located behind the big greenhouse. The big greenhouse is to your left when you exit the parking lot with a large "Come In" Sign above the door. Walk through the entire greenhouse and exit the backdoor.

1. Main Parking Lot – Right at the Conservatory. 2. Overflow Parking – Available at the bottom of our property (near the bulk material) 3. Lincoln Elementary School – Our wonderful neighbors right across the street have graciously allowed our guests to respectfully use their parking lot

What should I bring with me.

Join us for a special Rose Workshop at Abernethy & Spencer on Sunday, April 19th at 4:30 PM in the Glassroom.In this engaging, hands-on session, you’ll learn how to select and plant roses that thrive- whether you’re designing a large landscape or elevating a small garden space.

The workshop is led by Pam Powers of the Arlington Rose Foundation, bringing more than 35 years of gardening experience. Pam grows over 130 varieties of roses at her Fairfax home and is known for curating stunning rose gardens at private estates.An accredited American Rose Society Horticulture Judge, Master Rosarian, award-winning exhibitor, and National Photography Chair, Pam offers both expert insight and practical, easy-to-apply techniques. Her leadership has helped grow the Arlington Rose Foundation into a thriving, community-focused organization centered on hands-on learning.
