Learn how to propagate our beloved New Orleans old garden roses! Don Hanson, a volunteer and rose enthusiast, will teach how to choose the right rose and make the proper cuttings needed for propagation. You will leave with a wealth of information about rose propagation, care and maintenance as well as a propagated rose. This is a hands on program and all materials are included with this workshop. Don Hanson is a rose enthusiast and volunteer at the New Orleans Botanical Garden. He is a Master Gardener and over the years he has been a member of the New Orleans Old Garden Rose Society and the New Orleans Rose Society. He has an enormous amount of experience in pruning, care of roses, and rose propagation.
