Rose Ceremony

A ceremony with the Rose where we will travel through an inner pilgrimage into the realms of the heart. Expect moments of silence and stillness, love's poetry and music.

We will be working with the spirit of the Rose, which is a profound medicine for the heart, truth, love and union in the form of a hydrosol, an elixir*, an oil as well as the formless ways that the divine intends.
*Please note that the elixir contains honey and grape.

The Rose is a flower of the Goddess, the Ancient One. A flower of secrecy (sacredness), mystery, beauty, regeneration and truth. Flowers are the essence of life and they help to instil our connection with the Flower of Life, which is the sacred geometrical blueprint of foundation, the pattern of the universe. These codes of creation are a key which we can use to unlock hidden knowledge of space and time.

As one of the most revered flowers in Ancient Khem, where the Flower of Life was originally found in the temple of Asar, the Rose holds many mysteries of the universe and its ancient civilisations.

We will journey with these medicines whilst practising two specific mudras for the heart. Mudra's are gestures we make with the hands as the hands contain thousands of nerve endings and are a map of the body, the planets and the elements. The specific mudras that we will be working with help to direct life force energy into the heart, promoting inner connection, healing, harmony and the balancing of the heart chakra.

According to the Maya Cosmovision, this day of ‘10 Keme’ carries a special connection to the world of ancestors and is imbued with plentiful feminine energy. A day for great healing and strengthening the union between man and woman, family and society. This link to human society comes from 10’s direct correlation to the number of fingers and toes on our hands and feet.
