Rope Study Group: Self Tie

Rope Study Group is a four week rope class series that focuses on a specific set of skills for the four week session.

Join us to build your skills as a self tying person! This round of self tie study group is for intermediate self tie-ers and above! If you do not meet the prerequisites for the class you will not be allowed to participate, so please review them carefully! This four week course will be revolving around partials where we will be diving into better upline practices, body manipulation, and building a self tying scene. This class will teach no harnesses, but instead will be focused on concepts and putting the knowledge you have into practice.

REQUIRED PREREQUISITES:

• (We will do a harness inspection at the beginning of the course)

• Suspension worthy Arms-out Chest Harness

• Suspension worthy One Leg Harness (Examples: Futomomo, Dragonback Harness, Gunslinger)

Cost: $20 per person for the entire series

Dates: August 19th, August 26th, Sept. 2nd, Sept. 9th

Time: 7pm-9pm. We will start promptly at 7pm.

Location: The Woodshed Red Dungeon

Attendance is limited to 12 people. Please only register if you plan to attend. Your place will not be held until you register on Eventbrite so be sure to register if you plan to attend.

Everyone must wear a mask at all times.

Expectations

• By registering for this course, you are agreeing to attend all four classes. Please do not sign up if you are not able to attend all four classes as each class will build on the knowledge shared in the previous class.

• By registering, you are agreeing to set time aside each week to practice. This series will introduce a new skill or concept each week and it's important to practice what you learn.

• Please come to class on time. We will start promptly at 7pm.

Do I need rope?

Due to COVID-19 we do not have loaner natural fiber rope. It is highly encouraged that you bring your own rope (and also have rope at home to practice with). Rope can be purchased at the Woodshed or online (some helpful places are MyNawashi and TwistedMonk. You can message @nevertheless or @12cats on FetLife for links and suggestions depending on your needs). It is suggested you bring 3-5 hanks (pieces) of 8 meters of rope.

What else should I bring?

Please bring a notebook and writing utensil, a rope cutting tool, and rope. If you need help or have questions about cutting tools or rope, please message @12cats or @nevertheless.
