Song. Community. Rest. We sing every Sunday from 5-6pm PT. Come as you are. Come with your grief, your rage, your joy, your numbness, your hope, your trust. Suggested Donation: $15-20---&quot;Why sing?&quot;Within our voices reside power and liberation. Singing together can loosen locked emotions and invite healing. “Community singing” is the practice of inviting our voices into song while being in connection with other people. In this session, Te will teach songs call-and-echo style. All participants will be muted and you are always welcome to sing or to simply listen.~Song as liberation from white supremacy culture: white supremacy separates people from feeling their bodies and from connecting with community. Singing together invite full body awareness and connection to one other.~Song as liberation from capitalism: capitalism says, “You must produce something sellable in order to be valuable.” Song says, “Your presence is enough. You are welcome as you are. Your voice does not need to sound any particular way.”May our singing together bring healing &amp; liberation.
