The Philadelphia Affinity Group Network (PAGN) invites you to our End-of-Year Celebration: Rooted in (Re)membering — an evening of reflection, connection, and inspiration.
This end-of-year celebration is a moment to:
- Reclaim stories and collective legacy
- Recognize the work of educators of color
- Recharge through joy, belonging, and community care
- Connect with others who believe in the power of affirming spaces that support educators of color
What to Expect:
- Educator Panel: Real talk on legacy, liberation, and what's next
- Networking & Affinity Group Connection: Meet fellow educators & facilitators
- ACT 48 Credit Hours: Available for eligible attendees
- Swag & Giveaways: Curated with educators in mind
- Food & Festivity: Come hungry and ready to celebrate
Doors open at 4:30 PM — arrive early to connect, eat, and claim your swag!
The program will begin promptly at 5:00 PM.

We kindly ask that only individuals who are current affinity group participants or K-12 teachers in the School District of Philadelphia and Philadelphia charter schools attend. This event is designed specifically for current PAGN participants and those interested in joining our affinity groups.
At this time, PAGN does not offer affinity groups for administrators. However, we deeply value the role of leaders in supporting this work. If you're a school or district leader who wants to learn more or get involved, feel free to reach out — we’d love to connect.
Yes! This is a “come when you can, leave when you must” space. Whether you can join us for the full program or just a portion, you are welcome.
Come as you are — whether you’re arriving straight from school or dressed to celebrate! Most folks wear casual to business casual attire.
