What should I wear/bring?

Please dress comfortably and warmly! You may feel chilly. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow or anything else that will help you to feel more comfortable. We do have a few seats available for folks who are not comfortable lying down. Or you could bring your own portable lightweight chair.

Do I have to lie down?

It is important that you nestle into a comfortable, supported position. Lying down does not work well for all bodies. You are welcome to sit on a cushion or chair if that works better for your body. See above "What should I bring?"

Do I have to have meditation experience?

You do not have to have previous meditation experience to enjoy a Sound Journey. It is different than traditional meditation, although it offers similar benefits and is often easier for beginners to navigate.

Where can I park for the event?

Although street parking is often available near Albany UU, you may also park in the UAlbany lot across the street for the event.
