Root & Rise
Get grounded and glow up at Root & Rise—where we vibe, grow, and thrive together in person!
Root & Rise!
Get ready to connect, grow, and shine in person. Root & Rise is a soulful mini‑retreat designed to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that deserve tending. Over the course of our time together, you’ll move gently between grounding practices, reflective journaling, somatic exercises, and meaningful conversation — all held in a warm, welcoming space that invites you to soften and simply be.
Expect moments of sunlight and stillness, opportunities to listen inward, and a sense of community that reminds you you’re not moving through life alone. You’ll be guided through practices that help you root into your body, release what’s been weighing you down, and rise with intention toward what feels nourishing and true.
Come as you are. Leave feeling lighter, clearer, and renewed — with a deeper sense of connection to yourself and the world around you.
An Introduction
Hi, I’m Alexis Brightman, LPA. In my work as a mental health professional, I spend a lot of time helping people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move through life with more presence and compassion. Over the years, I’ve seen how powerful it can be when people have a gentle, intentional space to breathe and simply be — outside of the structure of therapy.
Root & Rise grew from that belief. I wanted to create a community‑centered mini‑retreat where we can gather in a warm, supportive environment, ground ourselves, and tend to the parts of us that often get overlooked in the busyness of daily life. While I bring a trauma‑sensitive, grounding‑oriented approach to the space, this isn’t therapy and isn’t meant to replace therapy. It’s an opportunity to connect, reflect, and feel held in community.
I’m honored to guide this experience and to welcome you exactly as you are.
