Root Chakra Sound Bath

An intuitive gentle guide into the sacred self, Gail offers transformational music and healing experiences designed to awaken the body, mind and soul. Following a path of Shamanism she also integrates ritual and ceremony into her healing experiences.The Founder of Singing Bowl Soundsations, Gail is a Sound Healing Practitioner certified in the traditional Nepalese healing techniques using Himalayan singing bowls.  She is  also a Usui Holy Fire and Shamanic Reiki Master,  Chakradance™ Facilitator, Musician, and Ceremonialist.  She shares her gifts and empowers others through training classes in both Sound Healing and Reiki, workshops, and retreats.  G﻿ail's practice is on Whidbey Island at Bayview Healing Suites in Langley, WA.

Join us for an 8 week chakra sound bath series.  Each week we will introduce one of the seven main chakras (energy centers) and work on tuning that specific chakra by surrendering to the sounds and vibrations of quartz crystal and Tibetan singing bowls.  The final week will feature all the chakras. You may attend any or all of the series.

A sound bath is an experience of relaxation and healing through sound and vibration as participants lie or sit comfortably and bathe in the luscious soundscapes and frequencies of therapeutic sound instruments.  Your evening will include the sounds of over 15 crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, native drum, rain stick, tingshas, and koshi chimes.  All off these instruments will play a part in our meditative experience as they bring their own unique textures and tonal qualities to your sonic journey. 
Week 1 will focus on the Root Chakra or Muladhara.  It is the first of the seven major chakras and provides the foundation on which we build our life.  The root chakra is where we ground ourselves into the earth and anchor our energy into the manifest world.
WHAT TO BRING Dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and water for hydration while lying in shavasana (corpse pose).  Other items are welcome (eye pillow, bolster, extra padding, crystals).  Please arrive 10-15 minutes to get settled.  
REGISTRATION REQUIRED to secure a spot (limited to 10 participants).
