Our mission isBuilding Community Through Local Food.  Through food, education, and community, The Root Cafe is striving to make Little Rock and the South Main neighborhood a better place to live by creating a more just, sustainable, and delicious food system for Central Arkansas!

The Root Cafe

Join us for a 5-course Valentine's Day Dinner prepared by Chef Jonathan Arrington.

<LI>Salad:  Beets, arugula, feta, sherry vinegar</LI>
<LI>Soup:  Apple, cheddar, sage</LI>
<LI>Appetizer:  Soft cooked egg, cracklings, ricotta, parsley</LI>
<LI>Main:  Porchetta, fennel, red cabbage, turnips</LI>
<LI>Dessert:  Flourless chocolate cake, creme brulee, ice cream</LI>
</UL>
Dinner will be offered both Friday and Saturday evenings; pick the night that works best for you!  Beer and other beverages will be available for purchase during the event.  As always we will focus on high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients from small farms and producers here in central Arkansas.  Please come join us for a memorable evening of delicious food around a big communal table!
