About this event

Kick off your morning with a feel-good flow at Cococabana, a Caribbean-style bar in the heart of Oceanside. This all-levels class features scrumptious stretches, strength-building sequences, and spectacular views.

To be clear, the rooftop bar is closed to the public during yoga classes. There's no chance of spilling someone's Shanghai Sally (grapefruit-infused gin + plum sake + more) when we windmill our arms into Warrior 2.

Please register in advance as space is limited. Bring a yoga mat, water, and your sunnies.

Let's flow!

Frequently asked questions

Where are the rooftop yoga classes?

They're at Cococabana, a Caribbean-style bar atop The Brick Hotel at 408 Pier View Way, Oceanside, CA 92054.

Where can I park?

You should have no trouble finding free street parking in front of Succulent Coffee at 308 N Tremont Street, Oceanside, CA 92054. Walk through the open-air cafe to the back entrance of The Brick Hotel and take the elevator to the rooftop.

Can I just show up?

We kindly ask that you register in advance as class sizes are limited. Classes are also subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or insufficient registrations.

What should I bring?

Please bring a yoga mat and water. We also recommend a towel or small blanket for extra cushioning. No worries if you don't have a mat or blanket. We have extras of both.

Isn't it cold/hot up there?

It can be. Practicing outside is not like practicing in a temperature-controlled studio, and that's part of its charm! It's a chance to fill your lungs with fresh air and connect with the natural world. In the colder months, we turn on heat lamps, but we recommend dressing in layers.

What style of yoga do you teach?

Most of our classes are vinyasa style. In vinyasa yoga, we move the body in sync with the breath. There's a fluidity to the practice, which is why it's also known as "flow" yoga.

I've never practiced yoga. Can I come?

Most certainly. We love beginners (and seasoned practitioners with a "beginner's mind"). It's helpful if you let the teacher know you're new before class starts. And don't worry about keeping up with other students. Practice makes progress.
