Rome after Dark
Overview

Secrets, Shadows & Power

The tour will be held in ENGLISH.

Rome is beautiful by daylight.

But its true stories were never meant to be told in the sun.

This evening walking tour begins at the Area Sacra del Largo Argentina, where Julius Ceaser was murdered, and winds its way through hidden corners of the historic center, ending beside the timeless Ponte Sant’Angelo. Where popes once fled, prisoners once prayed, and secrets still linger in the stone.

Led by two local students, Anna Maria and Helia, this experience explores the darker, more intimate side of the Eternal City: papal conspiracies, vanished noble families, poison wielded by powerful women, and ancient ghost stories

This is not a checklist of monuments.

It is a narrative walk. Slow, atmospheric, and not like your typical walking tour. Designed for curious travelers who appreciate history not as spectacle, but as power, ambition, and human cost.

You’ll hear the stories Rome rarely advertises:

The kind passed down from mouth to mouth, written between the lines of official history, and understood best when standing exactly where they happened.

The tour is free to book and supported by tips.

Since we're not a big corporation, but an independent, small-scale experience we kindly ask that you notify us in advance if you are unable to attend.
