Consulate General of Switzerland in Atlanta

From May 23-30, the Consulate General of Switzerland in Atlanta will introduce you to the Romandy, the French-speaking part of Switzerland.

Join us for a week-long celebration of French-speaking Western Switzerland. First, we invite you to a virtual author talk with Swiss writer Elisa Shua Dusapin, whose novels have won multiple awards. A further highlight will be the cooking class with chef Debra Pletscher, where participants can learn how to prepare a typical specialty from the Canton of Fribourg. Finally, the week will be wrapped up with a virtual concert and an interview with the band 'Les Fils du Facteur' on our social media channels. In addition to these events, the Consulate General will immerse you in a different French-speaking canton each day and challenge you with quizzes on the intricacies of French-speaking Switzerland on Instagram.
